A total waste of time and money. City Hall should stop trying to control the people of Edmonton with their stupid “woke” agenda.

I don’t know why city council has the right to tell private businesses what they can charge for something. I think paper bags should not be sold. Only tshirt bags which are reusable they were 35 centsand large reusable bags 1.00 is enough to charge. Also some restaurants don’t even ask they just charge and the price is set to go up.

It is blatant discrimination to force citizens to use reusable bags and to penalize them for using plastic bags and cutlery, when businesses use single use plastic for most of their products. Blatant discrimination.
