This increase is out of line…especially as there has been little good progress in road construction/ condition, no new hospital for our children, Rec centre still under construction & higher taxation.

You do know that this stream of city income has its limits…just like all our household budgets?! People are stretched too thin already!!! Stop this now!!

Give us good value for this money at least!

Here’s an idea. Spend tax payers money like you would spend your own. If you live off credit cards, then you should go take an economics course before you run a government.

Lower your spendings and cut all non essential projects. Also, look how costly are the actual ones and how inflated are the costs!

Just were are suppose to get the money to pay them. It seems like they want all seniors out of their homes.

Super important that we get a grip on this excessive tax!! Way too much fat in the system, and that’s the biggest problem. Managers managing managers and wasteful spending on ‘pet projects’ that aren’t necessary! People are going broke! And that’s the truth! Enough of the bike lanes, enough of the sidewalk widening, all total foolishness and unnecessary. Wasteful spending!!! Roads and streets move products, people and part of generating income in our economy. It’s called ‘transportation’, plain and simple. Roads are such an integral part of any economy and we’re letting them fall apart into such disrepair it will take billions of dollars to bring them back to an acceptable condition!! Drop the ‘green initiative’ for a while until we get our ducks in a row! And…it hasn’t proven to save enough money yet to make it worth while. STOP THE TAX INCREASE!!

Do not raise property tax another cent also please remove the extra charge for street improvements and repairs that should have been paid for by our existing taxes, charging residents extra is wrong. Seniors especially are hurting.
