I reuse my bags all the time. Paper bags tear easy and go to pick up a food order now and take your own bag is ridiculous. Who knows what the bag has been sitting on when you pass it through the window. Unsanitary!!!

Plastics have been replaced by paper, carboard, or those awful t-shirt bags. The paper or cardboard containers are not reusable or recyclable. Some can be

composted, but all of it is not reusable. T-shirt bags are reusable, but they are nasty if stained or ripped and then become garbage. Plastic containers and bags are all reusable and recyclable. I used the grocery bags for cat litter, but now I purchase plastic bags for that. I can’t see how this is reducing anything but my wallet.
