COE council, just say no to ‘nice to have’ projects until tax increase is zero. Citizens will happily live with the results.

Neighborhood regeneration projects should focus on rehabilitation that is necessary for function not reimagining for function that discourages parking and driving. Widening sidewalks and jutting out curbs, endless unnecessary bike lanes are making costs and taxes soar. (It is possible to ride a bike without a designated lane, somehow it has been done safely for decades.)

Every responsible citizen must balance their own finances. Government must do the same. If you can’t afford it, you don’t buy it. Hard choices, but simple policy. Stop spending and for heavens sake, stop taxing us to death!

Quit spending more than you have. I live on a budget. I do not have 8.1% more income this year.

Learn to balance a budget and spend with in your means. Stop rasing taxes. Every person living in the city can’t force there employer to pay them more cause they can’t balance there spending habits. The city should not be aloud to do it either.
