City council mis- manages funds and now needs more of our money to help pay for their shortfalls! It should come out of their salaries!! DEFUND CITY COUNCIL SALARIES- use that cash for Tax hikes!

This City Council and Mayor have no clue about priorities or budgeting and the actual needs of Edmontonians. They could probably reduce taxes by 6.6% if they tried harder. The crime, taxes, homelessness and unfinished construction projects have never been worse in Edmonton. Time to replace all of these clueless pinheads in the next election!

6% plus high interest (mortgage) rates plus high $$ groceries, $$ utilities are going to leave many people struggling day to day to afford to own their home. Wages aren’t going up 6%. How will people afford it.

The City of Edmonton Counsel and Administration must take a responsible approach to managing costs. Cut non-essential civic services, and reduce city staff and budgets to fund priorities. Excessive and non-essential civic costs cannot just be passed on to homeowners. No business and no homeowner could run their financials the way the City does.

Maybe the city should look at cutting out either middle or upper management. When you drive by a work crew and 5 white hard hats standing doing nothing and only 2 employees on shovels or working makes one think – What is this bullsh_t??
